Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the beautifi platform, JavaScript plugin, APIs, documentation, or any related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

beautifi provides AI-powered image animation tools, including:

  • A JavaScript plugin for embedding animated images on websites
  • A self-service portal for managing API keys and animation settings
  • Cloud-based image processing and video generation services
  • Framework adapters (React, Vue, Angular, Svelte) and CMS plugins

3. API Usage & Rate Limits

Access to the beautifi API requires a valid API key. You agree to:

  • Not exceed published rate limits (1,000 requests/minute per key)
  • Keep your API key confidential and not share it publicly
  • Use API keys only on domains registered in your portal account
  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer the API or circumvent security measures

We reserve the right to revoke API keys that violate these terms.

4. Bring Your Own Key (BYOK)

The Open Source tier operates under a BYOK model where you provide your own Google Gemini API key. beautifi does not store, transmit, or have access to your third-party API keys. You are solely responsible for the security and costs associated with your own API keys and their usage with third-party providers.

5. Intellectual Property

The beautifi plugin is released under the MIT License. You retain all rights to your original images. Animated outputs generated by the Service are derivative works of your original images, and you retain rights to those outputs.

The beautifi name, logo, and branding are trademarks of AgenticCompany and may not be used without written permission, except as permitted by your license tier.

6. Limitations & Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

  • 100% uptime or availability
  • Specific animation quality or results
  • Compatibility with all browsers or environments

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Process images you do not have the right to use
  • Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
  • Overload or interfere with the Service infrastructure
  • Resell API access without authorization

8. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your API keys will be revoked, and your portal data will be deleted within 30 days. You may export your settings before termination via the portal.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or portal notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
